Please join us Wed., April 12, 7:30-9:00 PM, for another meeting of the Fredericksburg, VA Zope and Python User Group ("ZPUG"). We will have a lightning talk about py2exe (build a Windows executable from a Python app), a full presentation on Zenoss (network and systems monitoring application written in Python/Zope), and some nice snacks.
Because of the Zenoss presentation, this will be a joint ZPUG and LUG (Linux Users Group) meeting.
Lightning Talk: John Kimball will demonstrate how to use Py2Exe to create a standalone Windows executable from a Python script.
Full presentation: Zenoss is a powerful network and systems monitoring application written in Python/Zope that has recently been launched at www.zenoss.org. Erik Dahl and Bill Karpovich from Zenoss will provide an overview of the project, a walkthrough of the architecture and a live demonstration.
