Very likely, actually -- in some cases, literally -- there were glitches 
in the windows build due to some binary reorganizations (which actually 
were true for all binary builds, but they were most evident for 
Windows).  There are fewer windows test errors now than there were, and 
since the unix side passes, and we were just putting out an alpha, I 
wasn't terribly concerned (for instance, when I tried upgrading a 
windows installation I got errors during the upgrade, so I think 
something is wrong up-converting various things in the ZODB.)

And to address Jeremy's concern about "we didn't get enough 
notification" -- yup, sorry -- Brian and I decided to try to put 
something out Friday to encourage 2.5 finalization.  I should have said 
something to the list Thursday night after my conversation with Brian.
