Then I get an ‘invalid connection string’ error.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>I have searched online and found many people have had the
same problem. In most cases <span class=SpellE>Postgresql</span> <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> not started
with the –<span class=SpellE>i</span> option, thus not accepting outside
connections. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>But I have started <span class=SpellE>postgresql</span> with
this option and I still cannot connect.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
