Turn on debugging and check Z2.log in the /zope/var directory. That

I installed Zope on a RH8 box a few weeks ago and it has run ever since :-)
But, today I up2dated mysql and now Zope will start but within a few seconds
it shuts down again (if it ever started?)
No messages in /var/log/messages
Worst nightmare. It won't run and I can't find any clues.
Any pointers?
