- dump/load would be a great feature!
- "retyping" objects on load/in place would be a great feature! (maybe  
the latter can be done already?)

I would say that without these two features, there is a huge (and  
unnecessary) disadvantage with the Zodb vs. any off-the-shelf RDB.
