I'm -0 on this. I will not say -1 on it though, but the current state of the 1.1 
release *and* bringing in more changes in grok and have more releases of the 
grokcore.* family makes me slightly uneasy.

Yes, please, first the directives and have a properly release 1.1. Then we can 
continue on the bigger plan if you ask me.
