I agree 100%.  I want the term to go away, actually.  I'll save the  
speech for another time (heh, literally--I talked about this at OSCON,  
a local ZPUG, and might write an article that touches on it), but I

That said, since I don't like the term "adapter" to begin with  
anymore, I prefer Martijn's "creates" proposal.

You could even turn part of your idea around, though you are left with  
the awkward "from_," so that you could use

@creates(IFoo, from_=IBar)

So, as I said to Martijn, I think your idea is theoretically more  
correct, but goes against some of the ideas I've had lately stemming  
from my issues with "adapters".
