Feedback is good.

Writing a proper author notification system would be good too.

My vote on what should be commentable:
Anything that provides authoritative documentation on something MUST be
commentable.
Anything else that provides documentation SHOULD be commentable.

Other stuff should be discussed on the mailing list.
