Let me explain some basic stuff that is stable right now:

1. Choose a Subject you are interested in

Let's assume you are interested in Session Management, and how it
can be done with Zope.

2. Choosing the right Community Portal

The first thing is to select the right Community. Session
management is certainly for Zope Developers, so you enter
the Zope Developer Portal.

3. Create a Subject

The Subject is "Session management", so just click on [Add Subject]
to add one.

4. Write a small abstract on the Subject

This should describe the scope of your treatment:

"Here we collect all information on how to use Zope to
implement Session Management. You will find all the products
you can use, and pointers to documentation on the ZDP site
and the Zope homepage."

5. Create Topics for the Subject

HTTP Session Management
Cookies
File System
SQL database
URL

6. Create an abstract for each Topic

For example Topic "File System":

"Maintain arbitrary per-visitor data (session data) by
storing the sessions on your filesystem instead of burdening
your ZODB with excessive transactions."

7. Add links right in the abstract to good resources

In the Topic "File System", you can reference the FSSession Product:

"Software Product: FSSession, by "gaaros" "

8. Edit Content Order

Use the [Edit Content Order] Link avaliable on the right side
in the management interface to sort the topics. This can be
done when you are in the Subject.

You can add this to the Beginners Portal to make it discussable.
This way people can quickly add links, comments and also drafts
to a fragment of your Zope Quickstart. For this you would add
many Topics for everything that is contained in your Quickstart.

I am not sure this is the best way, but it may enable direct
feedback in context, which gives you the chance to take over
the hints, and once you think that the stuff can go into a chapter
in the Zope Book, you collect it, and reference it.
