Well, normal members can see all replies, but the recursive thing is
annoying, as is seeing _all_ replies to all objects.  When the user's
role is that of manager, they see much more, such as images, etc.

It is likely a different CVS date dump. Mine is about 10 days old, IIRC.
How new/old is yours?
