First, I think you really mean "ORed" above.  Anding would reduce many 
keywords sets to the empty set.

IMHO, this is probably useful in some sites and a poor idea in
others.  For example, our Automation List (the email list that our
main web site descends from) has a number of categories that are
designed to be pretty separate.  It is still common for members to
prefix messages with several categories (e.g. "Subject: RE: PLCS, PC,
SOFT: Open Controller" for a recent thread).  There isn't really any
sort of heirarchical relationship among these categories.

On the other hand, it would be really, really nice for SquishdotPTK to 
support subject lists.  As you can imagine, stuffing the above thread
into exactly one category isn't right, but we haven't had time to fix
this.
