To quote Shane Hathaway from his email of 23 June to the PTK list:

Re: [Zope-PTK] can't add loginmanager below root

I thought I had made it clear that this problem has been solved. I have
sent a patch to Ty (about two weeks ago) as well as made the change in
the LoginManager stored in the PTK repository.

I have a more general question about CVS policy:

Should the contents of the main trunk of the CVS be "always working",
as seems to be the practise with Mozilla?

That is, changes that would lead to inconsistencies either get checked
in on a branch, or only get checked in in a group that makes the CVS
code jump from one consistent state to another, without an intermediate
inconsistent state.

I think it is really cool that DC is working on internal projects using
PTK, but I'm concerned that a lot of the design discussion has gone into
hiding inside DC.

For example, Shane has reported that DC have done some really useful
stuff with the Wizards -- including error handling. This is great.
However, I've not seen any discussion of the design for error handling
in Wizards on the PTK wiki, nor on the list.
