SkinnedFolder exists to allow the site manager to define a "folderish"
type with consistent skins: rather than relying on acquiring 'index_html=
',
instances which have SkinnedFolder as their underlying implementation can
share a specific, named view.

For instance, one might prefer not to create an 'index_html' document in
a new member folders; instead, each member folder's view would provide a
uniform view on the member's contents, etc. To accomplish this, one might
create a SkinnedFolder derivative, 'MemberFolder', and arrange to have it
created by the membership tool.
