[Zope-CMF] can not add new CMF-type

Hi there,

I created a new portal type based on portal folder.

Now I can add it to a site while in the ZMI. However when I am in "Folder
contents" in that same site I can not add it because it does not show up in
the list of objects.
I spent some time looking where and how that list of types is created but it
is still a mystery to me.

My questions:
 Where is the selection of portal_types created that is presented when
adding a new element .
 What can prevent a portal_type to be included.
