[Zope-CMF] Off topic question...

Folks,

This question is somewhat off topic for this mailing
list, but I'm having a seriously hard time getting
Perl to work with Zope and I was hoping someone on
this list might know the answer.  I posted this to the
zope-perl@zope.org list but haven't gotten any
response. 

I'm trying to install Zopeperl for Zope 2.5.1 running
on a RedHat 7.3 x86 system.  

I reinstalled my Perl 5.6.1 distribution to use
threading
and I downloaded and installed ActivePython 2.2 and
made it my default python installation.  

I then installed pyperl using pyppm pyperl. 

Once I ran that, I tried installing Zope Perl package
using the install.pl script that came with it.  It
kept failing with an error about pyperl not being
installed with the MULTI_PERL option.  I faked out the
script by hacking around the error and got it to
install, (okay, this is probably contributing to my
errors).  Unfortunately, the PerlMethod and
PerlExternalMethod packages are broken.  They give the
following errors:
