[Zope-CMF] RAM Cache and CMF objects?

if I drop a RAM Cache Manager in the root of my CMF.  and lets say I want it
to cache Document objects.  It doesnt show it on the 'Types to cache'.  it
shows CMFDefault Content.  but if I say 'cache everything' it wont every
pick up CMF content.  Is this a problem w/ RAM Cache not being informed
about how to list CMF portal_types?  or is it something much much deeper?

what would it take to get RAM Cache to work with CMF objects?
