[Zope-CMF] Customizing User Action in CMF.

In the ZMI, go to the portal_registration tool and uncheck the 
"visible?" checkbox for the "Join" action.

Many portal tools have an "Actions" tab (refer to the portal_actions 
tool to see which other tools have actions).  You can edit any of the 
existing actions and even create new ones.
