To my knowledge, yes.  I seriously wish that zope.org would quit
distributing python with their binary package on linux.  While it is
better for instant gratification; it causes no end of confusion once the
newbie tries to install his first package.  Paths are simply not what
the documentation says they should be; and the kind of person who
installs the binary package cannot figure out what is wrong or how to
adapt to it.  Ouch!
