Hmmm, don't see how that would work. So, you fire off a ZSQL method, and nothing 
happens, because the Oracle connection is open, just Oracle hasn't responded.

Is there any way to set a timeout for an SQL operation in the Oracle Client 
Interface?

If there is, has this been mapped through to dco2 yet?
