[Zope-dev] Getting meta_type of object using ZPublisher.Client

I've started working on a GUI frontend for load_site, and I need a way to
find out the meta_type of Zope objects I'm listing.  I'm using
ZPublisher.Client, so I'm limited in what I have access to.  getProperty
does not work, and I can't think of any other way to access it.  Any ideas?
