I was amazed at the amount of legal stuff, and I am not planning to sign
such an agreement for something like maintaining one page or several
pages on a website.

I think some of ZC legal issues for content can easily be made clear
using a disclaimer where appropriate (something similar to slashdot's
"All trademarks and copyrights on this page are owned by their
respective owners. Comments are owned by the Poster. The Rest (c)
1997-2003 OSDN. ".

Besides privacy, the only thing I think a contributors agreement
should take care of is copyright infridgements of others. See also:
http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_FDL for how the wikipedia handles
this issue by using GNU FDL. I can imagine ZC doesn't want to use
some kind of GNU FDL, but please don't ask me to sign 4 pages of
unreadable legal stuff, when I'm trying to help the zope community by
contributing.
