OK, here's announcement number two for today:

Summary:

Digital Creations announced today increased interoperability between
its Open Source Zope application server and Microsoft platforms using
open standards. An early 2000 Zope release will include support for
two protocols heavily supported by Microsoft, the Simple Object Access
Protocol (SOAP) and Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV)
protocol.

What's the translation on this one? Namely, we'll be adding SOAP
support to Zope as an augmentation of the XML-RPC support that is there
now. Also, Microsoft engineers are talking with us about
interoperability with the beefed-up DAV implementation in Windows 2000.

I'm cooking up another press release, hopefully for next week, then
that's it for the holidays. Whew!
