[Zope] catalog and key error

hi all,
i managed to get a ZCLass to automatically catalog its properties.  and using
source stolen from zope search page, tried to enable searching.  it works to a
point.  

the problem:
when a term is entered i do get the results.  but sometimes i got a key error. 
attached is the traceback.  the problem is that i can't really point what
caused the error.  the error value is random.  i used to see the problem ion
the old zope site, but no more now.

any hints, help, docs, appreciated.
