Hi

BTW, a very large Brazilian ISP has a whole farm of Cold Fusion NT servers.
They have a team of SysOps whose main job is to hit the reset button on the
hung CF servers in a timely manner. This happens dozens of times every day.
Really. Steroid users tend to die soon.

Two problems with ColdFusion, I think. The first is reliability, as
mentioned above. For a thought provoking experience, take a look at:
http://webdevelopersjournal.com/software/coldfusion_problems.html . I found
this a very off-putting review. Bear in mind that the author is the lead
developer for one of the largest sites in the UK, part of a major media
group.

The second problem is that ColdFusion is a resource hog - it positively
gobbles up RAM, from what I can see. I have been told that the Toys R Us
site will be running on a farm of over 50 servers this Xmas... is this a
sane approach??
