Caveats:

IF YOU"RE USING ZOPE 2.2.1 - ZCatalog now generates log messages for
attempts to uncatalog items not in the catalog. The update methods tries
to uncatalog before updating and cataloging, otherwise older news items
might still exist in the catalog.  hence you will see lots of catalog
errors fly by the when a channel is initially published. this is
harmless but annoying.

Testing:
I tested it on a fresh compile of 2.2.1 and retrieved an ocs channel
list, rss channels, published/unpublished them, and searched the
channels.
