[Zope] NOTICE: ZopeEdu Status

Several people have been wondering what happened to the ZopeEdu mail list.

From the pieces that I have gathered, the server hosting the list appears 
to have lost its SMTP port.   The admin is on vacation and the physical 
server is hundreds (and in some cases thousands) of kilometers away from 
any of the rest of us. 

So those of us that have been communicating via private E-Mail have 
decided to ride out the Y2K storm (this outage is no doubt due to a Y2K 
bug <smirk-giggle-gag>>.   Actually, we have figured that not much is 
going to get done this weekend and are waiting until early next week to 
get things up and running again.   If for some reason the list can not be 
brought back up on its existing site, we also have a backup plan.

When things are back in order, we'll let you know right here.
