User-defined role authenticationAdam,

Something before I answer your question.

Please don't send HTML formatted mail to mailing lists.

Not all members use clients capable of reading it correctly, it makes it v
difficult to decipher when using elm for example.

OK that said onto the question.

You need to create users that have that role and then set permissions
appropriately for the location in question.

For example try turning view permissions off for the location. then try
browsing to it.

HTH

Subject: [Zope] User-defined role authentication

I have defined a role, editor, in my Zope system. It is not clear to me how
to prompt a user who is not a manager to authenticate so that Zope will
recognize the user as something other than anonymous. Any pointers?
