[Zope] ZopeLDAP creation problem

Ok, I'm probably missing something obvious here, but at the moment it's
evading me.

I've installed ZLDAP, but am unable to create a ZLDAPConnection. 
Whenever I try I get the error:

Error Type: INVALID_CREDENTIALS
Error Value: {'desc': 'Invalid credentials'}

I've also noticed that if you try to create a ZLDAPConnection and not
open it at the same time, you get the error

Invalid request

The parameter, openc, was omitted from the request.

This makes me think that I'm not entering the correct information for
the server, but it's not obvious what.

Any ideas?
