Hmm, thought I posted the answer to the list???

Anyway, 52 minutes after posting to the bug collector the problem
was fixed with a new ZClass.py in the 2.3 branch. (Thanks Jim!)

For the CVS impaired (like me) the web interface makes it real
easy to find the file you need and download it.
