[Zope] Zope hangs from time to time

What does IPCheck actually do? To fully check a zope is working we normally
just run a perl or python script using LWP or urllib to get various pages.
As a further check we run this from a remote box. For me this is as close to
checking that DNS, db connections, Zope etc are all working that I can get.
The only way I can see a problem is if IPCheck does something wierd.
