heh heh.  just finished this script an hour ago.
#3.  passing variables implicitly

<dtml-if QUERY_STRING>
  <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('URLVariable',QUERY_STRING)">
</dtml-if>

This assumes that there is a single URL variable that is not defined.
www.foo.com?bar
so...bar==QUERY_STRING
