Hi Oliver,

your messages get also accepted, if you dont send them in HTML ;)
Now to your problem: I personally dont recommend using pcgi and
stuff. Just try to start zope using ./start
(which starts ZServer and per default your zope will listen to
port 8080)
Your Kernel message comes probably from a restriction on open files
(may be bound to the effective user id your apache/zope is running
under). Try to set the limit higher.
