[Zope] Large Data.fs Problems

Hi,

Can anyone suggest anything to alleviate the pain of stopping and starting a
Zope instance with a Data.fs in excess of 1400Mb?

The current setup is CompressedStorage layered on top of FileStorage and startup
seems to take about 5-10 minutes, which is not great during product development
:-S

Also not helped by CompressedStorage throwing CorruptDataErrors all the time :-S

Any help would be worth much beer...
