[Zope] creating files from external methods

hi,

Can you create a file from within an external method? (Zope 2.2.4)

My method looks like this...

def get_url(url):
    import urllib
    data = urllib.urlopen(url).read()
    f = open(r'G:\zope\test.txt' , 'w')
    f.write(data)
    f.close()    
    return data

It returns a web page fine, when called with <dtml-var
expr="test_get_url('http://bible.conman.org/kj/Revelation.13:18')"> but I
can't find the file anywhere...
