Emacs is your friend.  You can use ange-ftp to edit the files right in
Zope, and Emacs has intelligent modes for Python, SQL, and DTML
editting.

You can also use Emacs to read your mail, browse the web (I use W3 to
debug my Zope site), manage your appointments, and psychoanalyze your
friends (M-x doctor).  It even has a (several actually) vi emulation
mode.
