JL,

vim stands for Vi IMproved, and does have the usual vi workings, which
are a nightmare at first, but you can also use 'windows' style
ctrl+arrows, ctrl-C, ctrl-V copying/pasting etc, and is really easy to use.

But to use it with Zope, you also have to install the ExternalEditor
product on your Zope server, and the 'helper' application for windows,
and follow the instructions to set it up, so it will start whenever you
open things from the ZMI with with new 'pencil' icon.

hope this helps,

Ben
