I guess you use: http://www.zope.org/Members/mjablonski/PHParser

- which zope-version do you run?
- do you run Zope under windows or linux?

it's important to have no newlines in front of your <?php ...?> 
-definition if your document is called through the web!!! an additional 
newline will break the parsing of the response-header so that the header 
is printed on the screen.
