It does!

Something else must be wrong.

You already know the "<dtml-var REQUEST>" tip to analyse what
you get from an HTTP summit?

  Use "showRequest" as the form action. "showRequest" is a DTML method
  with the following content:

       <dtml-var standard_html_header>
       <dtml-bar REQUEST>
       <dtml-var standard_html_footer>
