The idea is mainly to extend the Zope framework...

Maybe, your best option is to set up a Zope instance for each of
your clients. All these instances share the same main Zope
installation, but they have different products (in addition
to the standard ones). See the documents about "INSTANCE_HOME"
on zope.org. Of course, you have one Zope process per client
stressing your resources a bit more than a single Zope procesclient
