One way to do it:

Have the form call a python script that reads the database and populates the
form during the form rendering. The action of the form could be another
python script, which will update the database via a ZSQL method. At the end
of the script, call the form again, which will then get updated with the new
information.

I have a booking form whose contents are generated from a ZSQL method.
The user then uses this form to place another booking. How can I send the
new
data to another ZSQL method to update the database and then change the same
form to reflect the new booking and present this to the user as
confirmation.
I am OK on using variables in ZSQL it is the mechanics of the submit that i
need to know.

garry
