I remember that in years ago (5-10) was used "secret question".

So you are asked in registration for "secret question" and for "secret
answer". You could write to question for example "what is date of born of
my mom and she maiden name YYYYMMDDname" and write answer 19400521newmann=
=2E

If you have forgot password, you could stil authenticate with help of thi=
s
secret question. It could be good security thing to make answer not
readable in back, like passwords.
