yes, it does that so relative links from some_folder/index_html will still
work when you visit some_folder directly.

ok, but you have to remember to keep it up to date if you move this stuff.

did you not see the alternate solution I posted?
use &dtml-absolute_url; instead of &dtml-id; in the link.
