In the root of your Plone site, click portal_workflow. Then select the=20
contents tab and open any of the workflows there present, probably the=20
default is what you want. Now you have access to all the states and=20
transitions on the tabs. Select the states tab and you can now set the=20
initial state of each object and also define the states available from ea=
ch=20
of the other states. On the transitions tab you can see what each transit=
ion=20
does and even define your own.
