[Zope] Zope is very slow(update).

Check the mailing list archives. You need to upgrade everything
(especially the kernel and glibc) to the latest versions. You may also
want to set and export an environment variable

LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL

which changes the threading behavior. With these changes and using the
binary linux distribution, I've been able to make Zope 2.6.2b3 work in a
production environment. The stability of RH9 is still a far cry from the
RH 7.3 we run on our other system. Both are dual Athlons with 2GB+ of
memory and an obscene amount of disk.
