Dear List,

Is it possible to issue a 'describe' sql statement to an Oracle database?  I am 
getting the following error :

Error, dco2.DatabaseError: (900, 'ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement') 

I have no problem with other SQL statements.

Any help, much appreciated,
