Everyone,

For your reference.

The error for segmentation fault is related to running runzope as root if
you run as other user (effective-user) it works fine.

See this like http://zope.org/Collectors/Zope/1301

Hello everyone.

Just to let you know this is a 64 bit machine.

Does someone have zope+plone running on 64 bit.

Subject: [Zope] segmentation fault on startup

Hello everyone,

I have installed Zope 2.7 on Fedora Core 2 from the source by compiling

On starting the ZServer using runzope I get the segmentation fault error.

Downloaded the Zope2.7 source code

Ran configure with a prefix option

Ran make

Ran make install

Ran mkzopeinstance.py gave a different directory for instance and provided
username and password

Now when I try to run the runzope it gives me segmentation fault.

There is no log file no Data.fs created.

Any ideas how to proceed.

Thanks

Niranjan Patel
