Try Jedit.
http://www.jedit.org <http://www.jedit.org/> 
Its by far the best text editor I have ever found. It has an extremely
easy to use plug-in manager (eg. Ftp access)
as well as doing html, python, java and c parsing.
If you look around there is also a WebDAV plug-in but I cannot remember
the site off the top of my head.

Wing IDE was a solution too 1 or 2 years ago although I dunno it's
status nowadays. Perhaps a solution more oriented to debugging options
of Zope products code, or for Plone stuff.

Great for Zope development is Boa constructor (I want to install, but
some libs missing me) and possible Zope IDE for Mozilla (today I was
discover it, it is quite old, but...?).

For general HTML page editing is good Quanta or Bluefish, but Mozilla
composer does not seems to be as good for me.
