Another way:

   /images/logo.gif
   /site.folder.org
   /site.folder.org/images/logo.gif

Templates in /site.folder.org with
   <img tal:content="structure here/images/logo.gif" />
will get the overridden logo.

A more longterm way may be to investigate the CMF's skinning
mechanisms or
