No it cant - you cannot use it to obfuscate text
like your captcha product seems to do.

But some people are using text-to-image products
to render buttons and this is where you can
use CSS instead.

Btw. Text-to-image obfuscation makes it harder for
machines to automatically fill out forms but not
impossible.
