[Zope] zope starts in foreground but not normaly

this is not the reason. zope runs as the user that created the whole
instance.

after zope stopped two files are left in the var directory:
Z2.pid, Z2.lock
both containing an int that was probably the pid of the crashed zope.

any more ideas?
